In Greenwich we are lucky to have alternative provisions that we are able to access if it is not possible for a young person to access a mainstream school for some reason. There is a process that has to be followed for us to be able to use one of the provisions. This would need to be discussed with the Virtual School officer, the social worker and the current education provider to ensure that this is the best facility to be able to meet their needs.
